Despite a crazy summer with a lot of full week work trips on my end, and spending the other half of the summer dealing with annoying inner ear issues that I developed from all of the air travel from said crazy business trips, we sure did manage to have an amazing summer!
We went to New York City for Memorial Day weekend to kick things off, and then had a beautiful Father’s Day weekend at Rehoboth Beach, DE where William and I ran the Father’s Day 5K together! We had another great summer trip to Virginia Beach, VA, and then stayed at Busch Gardens and Water Country USA for a few days in Williamsburg, VA on the way back. Towards the end of the summer we made a road trip all the way up to Niagara Falls in Canada, with a pit stop at Penn State University where Debbie and I met on the way up and back to break up the driving a bit. We squeezed in another trip to Rehoboth Beach in September. We ended up getting rained out, but it’s okay! Half the reason we go to Rehoboth Beach is because the FOODIE scene is amazing. Yes, we’ve driven all the way to Rehoboth Beach before just for the food. Henlopen City Oyster house is packed every single night and worth the drive, and plus I got all of these photos from the past summer sorted. So there you go!
The weather worked out perfectly for a trip to the Frederick County fair on Sunday, September 16th, and that’s pretty much a wrap for the Summer of 2018! We’re exhausted and looking forward to a nice and relaxing Fall 2018! Hope you enjoy all of the photo albums!
